The application time refers to completing the form, not a lending decision. Finance options depend on your circumstances and lender assessment. Approval is not guaranteed.

Minimum requirements

To qualify for finance, you’ll need to at least meet these minimum criteria:

Minimum $500 per week income
At least a learner’s licence
Income verification documents
Proof of physical address
Minimum age of 18 years old

Each applicant must have at least $500 per week in income paid into their bank account. This can be from wages, WINZ or IRD, or a combination of both wages and benefit income.

Each applicant must hold a valid licence. We will need to sight the physical copy upon pick-up.

Income verification documents include recent bank statements showing 90 days of transactions, a WINZ breakdown, an IRD entitlement letter, or payslips.

Proof of address documents can include your bank statement, utility bill, insurance confirmation, etc.

However, all applications are subject to lender approval, credit inquiries, affordability and suitability assessment, and responsible lending inquiries. Approval is not guaranteed.
